Analogue paper assemblage

Giuliano’s work with paper collage culminated in a series of fashion magazine cut outs where the ‘innards’ are almost completely removed leaving just a drawn outline which in turn emphasises the contorted poses of the models.

Giuliano says:

“I am dismayed at the unaccessibility of the fashion on display. It’s expensive and you can’t wear it to the desert for certain. Consider me duly mistified. Or perhaps envious? Do I want to party, in sequins, in deserts, among the rooftops with marble statues, beside infinite seas? Of course I do!!”
