Mad Hatters

Thinking while making or even making without thinking is how Giuliano characterises how she crashes found images together to make her Mad Hatter series of work.

She has used pages from magazines and books containing fashion, editorial photography, religious iconography, portraits of the aristocracy of 1838, Indian and Islamic art, botanical life, and weird animals.
