This work was shown as part of Many Rivers to Cross, the Riverside Artists Group annual show at Riverside Studios, Hammersmith, London, from 2 September to 2 October 2022.

This project is part of my collaborative practice with artist Mike Abrahams.

We’ve all crossed many rivers – physical and metaphorical – to get to the here and now. Some were before our time, some on our behalf, and some are still to cross. Supported by CityLit, London, 200 participants answered four questions:

• What area (of London) do you live in?
• What city were you born in?
• What country are your ancestors from?
• Where would you like to be?

The work comprises 54 monoprints curated around six emergent themes: Nomads, Natives, Not Here, Not There, 25% Water, and 25% Air.
