I’m right handed. One of the things I do, in order to loosen up, is draw with my left hand. I much prefer the results. Softer and more accurate. More about responding to what I’m seeing.

I do enjoy looking back at my rather angry-looking notes. It reminds me of the frustration. I am quite self-critical.
Drawing is about seeing and translating that seeing into arm and hand movement. Those synapses don’t fire in a run-of-the-mill working day. Learning to see is a muscle memory that needs exercising constantly.
